The Western Nevada Wildcats are the baseball team that represents Western Nevada College in Carson City, Nevada. The school's team currently plays in the Scenic West Athletic Conference which is affiliated with the NJCAA. The team has made two Junior College World Series appearances in 2007 and 2009. The Wildcats have won two regular season conference championships and two conference tournament championships. The Wildcats' home field is John L. Harvey Field, just off of the Carson City campus of WNC.
Western Nevada's main rival are the Southern Nevada Coyotes in Henderson, Nevada. The Coyotes and Wildcats have an intense rivalry and are usually head-to-head in the conference standings and have met in the conference tournament finals in two of the past three seasons. Either Western Nevada or Southern Nevada have won the SWAC regular season championship in the past seven seasons and have won four of the past seven tournament championships.
