Steve Larkin (b. July 24, 1973), born Stephen Karan Larkin, was a Major League Baseball player and the younger brother of Barry Larkin. He played in only one game during his time with the Cincinnati Reds, batting against Jose Silva in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and an attendee of Moeller High School like his brother, Larkin spent most of his baseball career in Minor League Baseball.[1]

In 1994 he began playing in the minors for the Hudson Valley Renegades in New York, and then for the Charleston RiverDogs in South Carolina in 1995. He also played thirteen games for the Winston-Salem Warthogs that same year. In 1996 he played for the Charleston AlleyCats in West Virginia for half a season and also again for the Winston-Salem Warthogs and stayed on with the latter for the 1997 season, as well. In 1998 he was called from the minors, then playing for the Chattanooga Lookouts, for his game with the Cincinnati Reds. He also spent the 1999 and 2000 seasons with the Lookouts.[2]
