The Southern Ontario League was an independent league based in Ontario in 1934. The season ran for only one week when the league folded. The league may also have had a second title being known as the "Intercounty League" due to some franchises in the SOL playing games in the Intercounty as well. (unable to locate any data on that league, Intercounty League, except for the years 1946-1969 and 2000-present). (Whomever is researching this league, a note). I'm almost sure there are microfilmed or digitized newspapers for some of these towns. Especially with Toronto being included. Paper of Record perhaps? The website is based in Canada I believe. JJ
