Provincial League was an independent league: 1898-1899, 1901-03, 1906, 1935-1939 1946-1950, 1958-1970. Unclassified in 1900. And Class D 1951-1955 and was called Quebec-Provincial League, which was a Class D, in 1940.

1899    Montreal-Hochelaga and Valleyfield entered the league; Montreal Independents and Montreal Nationals left the league.

1901    St Laurent Qc entered the league; Farnham, St Jean, Sorel and Valleyfield left the league.

1902    Montreal-Delorimer Qc and Valleyfield Qc entered the league; Sl Laurent left the league.
