Two separate organizations used the league title "Empire State League". The 1905-1908, 1913, 1931-1934 and 1987-1988 organization was located in New York. The 1913 organization was located in Georgia.

1905    Canandiagua NY, Cortland NY, Ilion NY, Lyons NY, Oneida NY, Oswego NY, Palymra NY , Rome NY and Seneca Falls NY. During the season, Ilion moved to Fulton and Palmyra moved to Geneva.

1906    Penn Yan NY entered the league; Canadiagua, Cortland, Lyons and Oneida left the league.

1907    Lyons NY entered the league; Penn Yan left the league.

1908    Oneida entered the League; Senca Falls left the league.

1909 to 1912   Not Sure if this League played

1913    Auburn NY, Fulton NY, Ogendsburg NY, Oswego NY, Rome NY, and Watertown NY.

1914 to 1930   Not Sure if this League played

1931    Canandaigua NY, Clyde NY, East Rochester NY, Geneva NY, Manchester NY, Newark NY, VIctor NY, Waterloo NY

1932     Canandaigua NY, East Rochester NY, Geneva NY, Lyons NY, Newark NY, Penn Yan NY, Pittsford NY, VIctor NY

1933     Bath NY, Canandaigua NY, Clyde NY, East Rochester NY, Geneva NY, Lyons NY, Newark NY, Penn Yan NY, Pittsford NY, VIctor NY

1934     Canandaigua NY, Geneseo NY, Genvea NY, Pittsford NY, Geneva NY, Sons of Italy NY

1935 to 1986   Not Sure if this League played

1987    Hemsptead Dodgers NY, Hempstead Reapers NY, Hempstead Sound NY and Hemsptead Whalers NY.

1988    Unknown teams that played in Staten Island NY, that lasted a week or so.
